Should I build up metal with a tig weld then mill down to specs or should I just buy another.

You can probably get a good used one for less than what it takes to fix this one ...

The usual used parts outlets should have plenty of those lying around ...

You can buy them, new and improved too.
I got tired of trying to refurbish ones like yours.

It really depends on what your time is worth to you. Chris sold me some really nice ones. Only thing was they were trying to get out of the packaging when they arrived but they made it just fine. I'm not sure ups could have managed one more transfer though.

I don't ship UPS because they would have gotten them out of the box. laugh.gif
I'm a little surprised the USPS tried that hard.

BTW Lex,
I probably have one or two good originals I could sell you at a much lower price than the new ones we make.
