914World.com _ 914World Garage _ my 2000th post

Posted by: pete-stevers Nov 22 2009, 09:19 PM

So after spending all this time on the boards...i thought it would be a great time to finally contribute!
Long time ago a thread was started as a fund raiser for my late first born son
Easton
A lot of money was raised by you guys in his last days, and after the dust was settled, I thought this would be a great way to contribute, and give something back to the community,
and furthermore name the product after Easton
So these are going to be Easton's oil tanks
I expect my first run of ten to be made early this coming year we are still in preliminary design...

and that is my 2000th post..not bad eh?

If I choose to go that route, it would be a honor to use this product.

Nice! Is the tank going to be baffled?

Posted by: Travis Neff Nov 22 2009, 11:51 PM

From searching around I now understand that the horizontal screen is the baffling, my bad. Can't wait to hear more about this!

Posted by: pete-stevers Nov 23 2009, 10:15 AM

i am not holding my breath until i have a prototype in my hot hands!
I am hoping before the new year to have the parts laser cut and welded.
Once the prototype is fitted then the first run of ten
I am hoping to keep costs down as much as possible!

Very nice work, my northern friend. Knowing you, it will get done.

Glad to see Easton's name on it too...

I will reply to your personal e-mails in a bit.

Hugs to the family.

Qarl...it is good to see you on the board! Pop in to see us more often!
I should have rough numbers in my hands on costs in the next couple of days.
