I went for a drive yesterday in the rain. There's still water in/on my headlights, but I can't figure out how to leave them open to dry out. When I leave the lights on with ignition off, the parking lights stay on.
Is there a way to keep the headlights open with all electrical powered off? or do I need to open them and then disconnect the battery?
pull the relays while in the up position.
The relays are located just under the headlight motors and covered with a plastic cover....
They are easy to get to if you want...

I've got the "green knob" disconnect on my battery, so that was easier. Just wasn't sure if there was a setting with the headlight knob that would achieve what I needed.
Long as I have a headlight thread going... I'm curious to test out the manual headlight raising/lowering. Does it harm the headlight motors (which function well for me) if I test out the manual knob method? After they dry out, of course.
wont harm anything
