914World.com _ 914World Garage _ 1.7 D-Jet Dizzy Pertronix: Who sells?

Hey--

Who sells the correct Pertronix for the 1.7 D-Jet dizzy? I've got one but it's for an 009 and doesn't fit. I think it's too bulky.

I bought a Pertronix for my 1.7 D-Jet dizzy at PP. AA also carries it. I didn't know there were differences in size of the Pertronix. Mine went in with no issue.

Can also buy directly from their website.

Hey Kris, I bought a pertronix from Pelican for my 2.0 D-jet - you're right, they don't fit. I got it to fit by sanding about 1/8" off the bottom of the rotor, and it does work well, but that's no good solution. I haven't looked for a better fitting unit, so can't help you there.

I bought a hot spark brand. Fit right in, no problems with it at all.

And when I called, I actually got a person, and he was even friendly.

Thanks for the info guys---

If I were to trim the rotor to see if this guy will fit--do I trim the base with a dremel?
