My newly acquired V8 conversion has a custom firewall, all flat, but no padding. Noisy!! Car is louder inside than out. What's the best stuff to use?
well - i use a healthy dose of flat-6, but i know you aren't interested :-) ...
Try a layer of Dynamat on the inside and the outside. That should help out!
