914World.com _ 914World Garage _ How To: Turbo Brakes?

Posted by: djm914-6 Mar 21 2004, 07:43 PM

During the test drive today, I noticed my brakes could use some work. I'll bleed them and check the pads but I'd like more. I want to rip the belts out of the car when I tap the brakes!

Thanks,

944t's need the 3.5 in spacing and then you need to drill out the holes in the caliper and use a half moon spacer. The 944t are just over 3.5 in spacing. They equal the 930 pad. The other way is to go to VCI for a $500 adapter and have them machine your calipers and they have adpated a 944t rotor also.

my blue car has 944t up front and boxster rear. I haven't driven it yet, but hopefully it will be at the WCC.
