Hey there. My buddy at work is an antique... collector. He brought this in and was wondering where it's from and what it may be worth. One of his daughter's EX's gave it to him like 20 years ago and it's just sat ever since. It's an old diagnostic kit with all the original manuals and the case. Everything is built in the old, bullet proof fashion. There's some minor surface rust on the case, but it all seems to be there, including the spare connectors for plug wires and the like. Would be cool for someone building a vintage garage, or racing a vintage car. Any thoughts?

He also has this. It's not part of the same kit, but that is one old timing light. It only has two wires, and hooks in series with the plug wire.
Even has the original connectors. That's actually the original box, too, but it's thrashed.

Pretty cool, shop set from the 50's , early 60's. IMO not worth much. Need to check and see in the manuals, they may be 6 volt stuff, so don't try them until you make sure. There are vintage collectors out there that like that stuff for decorations.
