914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Throttle Body Removal

Posted by: flat4tom Feb 4 2010, 06:27 PM

Hello all,

I have a sticking throttle body. I've read thru all of the posts I can find about cleaning it and so forth. Haven't found anything about removing it.

How do I remove the TB? Do I have to remove the plenum below it as well? I'd rather not if possible. Is it just two bolts on each side?
Anything to watch out for like parts that like to fall out when it's removed? huh.gif

It's a '73 2.0 D-Jet.

Thanks for any advise.

Tom
