The valve adjusting screws on my 1.8 are pitted on the end. Since I'm going to replace the valve guide seals, though I would price a set of adjusting screws too.
I found 8 adjusting screws for $64 and 911 swivel for $160 on the porsche sites, but wayyyy cheaper on the dune buggy sites. (I've heard the 911 work on the 4cyl??) Look at this site...will any of these work on a 1.8?

If you have 1.7 rockers (smaller screw diameter than the 1.8, 2.0 rockers), the Porsche elephant feet will work.
If you can go elephant feet, buy genuine Porsche.
The others are real crap. I bought a set many years ago, played with them a little and threw them in the trash.

Thanks. Did my first valve adjustment on the car back in October, and it look like the original ones are the right ones to get. I also lucked into the other valve adjustment thread on page one here today, that explained a lot more, too. Thanks guys.
yes and this makes it clear to why
