I'm having a hard time finding replacement hose for the drain tubes that come off the bottom of the fresh air hose. Mine are brittle and cracked. I've tried hardware stores and hose supply shops, but nothing fits. The ID is slightly under 1". I remember seeing a post about someone finding a corrugated irrigation hose that fit and even looked correct. Does anybody have some hose they can spare?

Bummer! I sold a set a couple months ago that were OEM and in great shape...they went for $9.14....

Lowes has a rack of various size hose. Try there or an Ace hardware type store.

We don't have Lowes or Ace here. I've been to Home Depot, Rona, Canadian Tire, WestMarine, and a fitting and hose supply shop. The closest I got was 1-1/8" ID bilge hose but it's too big, bulky, and won't fit through the hole in the bottom of the fuel tank bay.

Is this a different size then the engine drain tubes/funnels?

I used the 1.25 inch bilge hose, and gave it a taper cut at the bottom to push it through the hole under the tank. Put a little sealant on the cut, and it was good to go.

I found the proper size of rubber hose and replaced all the plastic connectors (cracks very one of them) with brass fittings (straight and 90 degree along with a brass tip at the bottom. A little bulky but seems to work very nicely. These are out of sight and I am not really concerned with originality.

I was thinking of going with clear tubing or maybe try to use the bilge hose I have. That means shimming the air box fittings and to fit the hose and use gear clamps. I was hoping for a more elegant solution.

Any problems getting the gas tank in with bulkier hose?

$0.60/ft and has a nice "clamping cuff" to fit over the funnels. It is a bit wider diameter but is a decent solution.

Check your local Yellow Pages for hose suppliers.

Yes...but that was for a solution to the engine lid drain tray hoses. They work OK for that. But in the air box application, they seem too bulky with gear clamps and trying to fit behind the gas tank and through the hole in the sheet metal.

I came across that in my exhaustive search.

20 ft would be enough for 10 cars. Not to mention the shipping costs, even if they sell direct to the public. What I'm hoping is someone already has a roll of this and can cut off a few feet for me.

I'll bring in a roll and make availabe to those that want it. I look at about a 15% premium, but it's better than sitting on a buch you will not need. I'll also combine with any orders for other stuff you might need

I actually found some at the local gardening shop this afternoon. Funny...just when I thought I'd never find what I was looking for. Looks pretty damn close to the original tubing. It came in a 25' roll but I figure some of you might need some. I'll post some pics when I get it installed.
