I was restoring an early set of fogs and had a good laugh when I cracked one of the lights open. Inside, neatly folded, in one of the fogs was a flyer to a car show back in 1990. I couldn't see any reason why that would be inside there....the light had a good seal and everything was in tact--no loose parts. At first, I thought someone had put the flyer in to tighten up rattle or something, just didn't look like that was the case.

Time capsule... Beautiful. Thanks.
what did you do with the rolled up joint I left in there?
Maybe the DAPO thought they were time capsules - like cornerstones in buildings - & stuck it in there!?
You're looking at it upside down........it's a treasure map!
First, I've never used paper wads to dampen rattle.
Second, does it rattle without the paper?????
Dooba Schmokie
I'm just sitting here dumbfounded that 1990 was 20 years ago . . .
Try looking at it under the light of a full moon.
