can someone please explain how to remove the dizzy. maybe even some pictures as i am clueless when it comes to the dizzy. thanks in advance
at the base of the dizzy is a plate with a hole on it for the sutd from the block to go thru and for a nut to hold it in place.
above this is a long hex nut that you have to loosen in order to rotate dizzy, so you can get the the nut on the plate.

wow thanks jim thats exactly what i needed!
Ya might wanna set the engine on TDC #1 before you remove the distributor, as it makes it a LOT easier to get it back in a close-to-correct location so the car will start. The Cap'n
