i am re- installing rebuilt calipers on my 73 2.0. 2 questions
the calipers have 2 bleeder holes in them .i plan to use 2 speed bleeders and 2 reg bleeders (as plugs), should the speed bleeders go on the top or the bottom
also where does this plate go?
see pic
top. bleeds always on top.... where the air goes
the plate goes between the 2 bolts acting as a washer.
Speeds on the top. Bottom bleeder is useless except to fill the lines and/or drain the calipers.
That plate is the lock plate for the caliper mounting bolts. Bolt, plate, ear on strut. Bend tap up against bolt when tightened.
Bend tab, not tap. No tap to bend
