while grinding the case and rods to clear...I noticed some strange stuff.....


The rods that rub the case are 3 and 4. The rods that hit the cam are 2 and 4...

sound normal??

oh yes....scat rods, chevy journal, 80mm crank throw.... reduced base circle cam..

I know....this combo sucks....I will get it to work...or will buy new rods...Don't do this at home...professional at work...

Question...Why don't the lobes of 1 and 3 cause a problem?? How should I verify that the cam gear is indexed correctly?

How much meat can I grind off the rods and have them hold together....so many questions...so little time....
