I can just imagine how this went down. Honey, I NEED this tool to put your car back together. There's just no other way to put that panel on.
Hey Rick, quick question. Are the sides "hot" or just the tips of the spot welder.
What does this plug into?
Can I get a setup like that for a Lincoln Arc Welder
Rich
Nice tool, wish I could use one a lot. The one I used in college in the 60's had a timer you adjust and a heat adjustment and it was a spot welder only. It had a three foot throat and 1 inch dia copper prongs. It had a switch but it only started the weld. I think it went to 150 amps. It may have gone to 200 amps, I know it would spot weld two pieces of 1/8 plate. Up to 1/2 spots. Spot welders make repairs look factory.
Do a google search for Lenco Panel spotter Rich. I actually had to get an adaptor to update my spotter or this would not work with mine. (too old)
That is a cool tool.
OoOoOoooo looks expensive!
