914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Been too long without driving a 914

Well I haven't driven a 914 in a couple years and going through major withdrawals. I don't exactly have the funding right now to get the the car 100% to where I want it but can at least get it on the rode to drive it. I need some input on a few questions.

Planning on doing a rattle can paint job. Most of the car is to bare metal what kind of primer should I use? Do I need to use more than one type(ie:primer sealer and or high build)? About how many cans will it take?

What size hole saw do I need to cut for foglight holes on the fiberglass 916 bumper?

How are the fiberglass bumpers typically mounted?

I am sure more will come up as I get farther into it.

70-74 you can fabricate a bracket to use stock metal bumper bolt holes. I don't know fiberglas, but you fiberglas the bracket to the bumper somehow.

More questions.

Is the handle for the front trunk with the lock easily removed? How?

Glove box lock is that easy to remove?

Where the radio is typically placed is that removable or will I have to cut it for the style radio I want to use?

What is the best way to get power to the front trunk for a small amp?
