Ok...can I do a 911 muffler...easily??? If so...would it be of any benefit?? More flow...From this photo it looks pretty simple...the guys website is also included right here... http://www.syer.net/porsche_914.htm
If I can do it without any cutting? If so..that means u could use aftermarket 911 muffs right? What year is the muffler from?

I don't think that is a 911 muffler; it is a 914 2.0 muffler "converted" into a 911-ish sport muffler.

Due to internal diffs in the mufflers, plus the major differences in the two types of engine's characteristics, these things are apparently VERY loud and not the best options overall in terms of power and drivability. In other words, basically nobody uses them...

I've driven that teen and it's not very loud at all. About as loud as the ansa (I know POS but it was free) I have on mine.

It is a 2.0 muffler converted to the 911 style.
IMO if you have to cut into a stock muff just leave it stock.

I've seen this done with the stock 911 muffler ( twin in -single out ) with flanges welded on to mate to the four cylinder H-Xchangers. It works well and sounds nice. They are heavy though...
