914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Tranny Sport Mounts

The sport mounts (911 engine mounts) are thinner than the original 914 style mounts. What is the proper way to mount these to keep the correct transmission to body spacing? Should washers be used as spacers to achieve the same thickness as the original mount? And be placed on the large single bolt between the mount and the transmission ears? Any suggestions?

I do not recall this as being an issue in the past I would just make sure you have all the hardware properly mounted and you should be OK....

Joe, Good picture. I seem to recall in other threads that the tail pipe might hit the top of the valence cut-out. If not a problem I'll go with the stock hardware. Thanks.
