For anyone on the West Coast, there is a great Charity Event this September 8-12th at Laguna Seca. The Charity is for the Salinas Hospitial.

Amongst all the multitude of events, there are Porsche Hot Laps around the track. $30 for 3 laps, all proceeds going to the Hospital. Here's the info:

The greatest thing about this is, their insurance doesn't limit the rides to 80%. They allow full speed rides if the rider wants!

Don't want to SPAM with this event. Just want to let all 914 enthusiats know that I'm one of the 20 invited drivers and will have our 914-6 with an 86 Carrera 3.2 available for Hot Laps.

Hope you can come down to donate to a good cause and if you have an extra $30, take 3 laps around Laguna at full speed! Our 6 does 1:51s!

I think you should SPAM. It's a worthy cause, and would be a hell of a lot of fun. I'm gonna check my calendar tonight.

as someone that has been in the driver's seat for this event....you don't want to miss it.
A good time will be in the offing for you....and you can always opt for more than 3 laps
