Hi,
I'm replacing the stock shocks with a set of Sport Bilsteins. The rear springs measure left 18" and right 18" 1/4, hence once side is of by a 1/4".
Two questions for the suspension gurus here:
1) What are the stock spring specs, in reference to height and lbs rating and does a ¼” makes a difference?
and
2) Any recommendations about replacement the stock springs?
My setup: I have a stock frontend with stock swaybar and will use the car as a daily drive (max. 3-4000mls) in NJ. Delrin bushings at the rear – front I don’t know yet.
I’m planning to run either 195 or 205.
Maybe some AX but not a must, perhaps once a year or a track day or so.
Thanks for yhe input!

not a single reply? c'mon guys help me out!! yes i did search but w/o sucess.... :-(
New springs will be the same height.
Stock springs are now 35+ years old and they do wear out over time.
New stock springs will be the "right" height.
140# (the biggest I would go with a stock front end) will lower the back a *little.* Maybe ~1/2 inch when they have finally settled.
160# and 180# will also lower the back a tad.

thanks Zach!
the question that I actually have is should I consider replacing my old shocks. i was guessing i could conclude that based on the spring height.
