914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Any thoughs on Solex carbs?

Hey Guys,
I came across http://newjersey.craigslist.org/pts/1965205624.html.
I was wondering if you guys had any thoughts on them. I just bought my first 914, a '74 with a 1.8, that currently has a single weber. Eventually i want top switch back to the F.I. which came in a box with the car. In the meantime, are these even a small upgrade from what i have now, or what? Any input is appreciated! Thanks!

solexes are troublesome,that's why they are for sale!!

That seems to be the general consensus on here! I'd like to go back to fi eventually, but i dont have any experience with the fi, and i'd like to get this thing going (better) pretty soon. thanks for the input!
