I just recently picked my self up a 74 914 with a bad ecm. I have heard it is easier and better to convert it to dual weber carbs. i was wondering if someone could give me more information; parts i need, tools i need etc.

Correctly running fuel injection will run the best. Dual webbers sound cool but can be a challenge to tune correctly. 40mm should be the largest you should consider. For the same cost you can fix your fuel injection and have a better running engine. Stay away from the single webber conversions. They are cheap but very hard to tune out the dreaded flat spot.

Find a used control module...if u r sure that is what is wrong. Put an add in the classifieds.
