I am new to the 914 stuff but I have never seen these rims. Anybody have any info and/or what they are worth?

my guess is a specail edition VW wheel, post on The Samba website to get some more results, but they look like what I have seen as a special edition bug rim.

agree.gif It's a four lug spare anyway. 924 sounds about right.

Thanks!

Any idea on a price for one?

set of four is worth way more than one to the right crowd.
Advertise them on thesamba for 200-300 for the set of four...see what happens.

86-88 924s had 5 bolt wheels, IIRC, using the 356C/911 pattern. 76-82 924s with 4 bolt wheels had the smaller Audi bolt pattern, not the VW/914 4 bolt pattern.

VW specail edition, 924s where 4 on 108, not 4 on 130 like 914s & 69 up air cooled bugs. Also, the 924 rims where aluminum. Sorry, these aren't worth a lot IMHO..

Pictured is my old 924 with 924 rims..

924 wheel....alloy very similar but not the same as above...I agree that that was a late model beetle special edition steel wheel.
here are some pics of the 924 wheel smile.gif
