914World.com _ 914World Garage _ ECU Adjustment

Posted by: tracks914 Apr 25 2004, 06:59 PM

I have looked through all my books, actually both of them, rolleyes.gif and cannot find what the adjustment on my ECU is for. I know it got moved during my restoration but don't want to mess with it until I know what it is for and how to set it properly.
Any suggestions?

Idle adjustment, use a CO meter or by ear only when the engine is hot.

Used to adjust fuel mixture at idle.
"turn left is lean and turn right is rich".
