Hey all this is a roll call for WCR 2011 June 23,24,25 & 26th. All the info is in this thread

This will turn into the official registration thread soon. For now this is just a roll call. Please chime in if you are coming? Also if you have made your hotel reservation yet. I'm trying to figure our registration costs now. It will help having an idea on who is coming though.

Well, I'm coming but I have yet to do anything. I just had a listing have an accepted offer so once it closes I will have some bonus monies to get my daily driver 914 all set and pay for this .

Oh, and so people don't back out because they see I am coming I should note my wife will be coming too

My plans now are to drive my 914 car from Atlanta to Medford and then leave the car somewhere on the west coast for a few months and then come back in the fall for the return drive. Anybody got any inside storage I could rent for a couple of months.

I'm in and have made res at the LaQuinta.

I have plenty of outside storage for free Big Kat. Very safe and secure property. That time of year outside is fine for the NW.
I'm in Portland area not too far from the Airport.

Actually Bob I can probably hook you up there. Worst case it would be under a carport. I only have 2 stalls in my barn right now. I do have at least 3 spots of covered area's it could park out of any weather. I am north of Medford but you can catch the flight out of Eugene no problem. I am a good 5 hours north of Medford though.

Oh but I do reserve the right to look at all your suby stuff & copy anything . Storage is free though

I could also provide storage for that 914/eg33 if you want to leave it in Seattle. Really looking forward to seeing that engine in a 914.

I'm in if I get the car running, everything is back together but the first start of the engine will happen in around 2 weeks and then I should know better. I also have to bring the car down to Jerry (jmmotorsports), he painted the car and once it;s done he will planned to do some wet sanding and I got a few scratches in the paint which need to be fixed. If I come then very likely +1 since my daughter wants to come too but she will have her 8th birthday on June 25th . No reservations yet.

I'm in, haven't made any arrangements yet but will work on that tomorrow after I find out if the wife and kid are in.

BigKat I would have the space for you if you wanted to drive to the Santa Cruz/Monterey Area and leave it. Plenty of major airports to take ya to and pick up from when you return within an hour. But like Jaime I am not responsible if/when all the suby swap tricks are copied

I will be bring home brewed beer!!

I will NOT be driving Rob's car up this year.

Made reservations a few minutes ago.

My wife has a conflict at work, her boss has taken that week off. She is supervising a 24/7, level 2 help desk and normally he covers for her when she is out, so she is going to have to work out other coverage.

Well, I have officially reserved a flight to Portland on the 22nd, now to scrape up the $10.00 bucks that the ticket cost me. Sure hope I can sell enough parts to raise the dough. Hope to be there if all goes well.

I'll be there assuming I get my butt in gear and finish the car. I tore it down for repaint 3 years ago. Engine hopefully going back in this weekend. The minor details are taking me longer than expected!

I'm looking forward to seeing all the 914s in town.

We don't care if your car is running. There will be plenty of people there not in there 914. It is a can't miss weekend. Especially in your home town . Seriously though it is a great weekend. You won't regret being there even if you are not in your teener. If you need help with your car just holler. There are a few guys in your area I am sure would be more than willing to help with the install. I would consider it too in the coming weeks. I need to make a trip down anyway

OK, it is official... we just reserved three rooms for my family. I hope to have the car running and ready for the autocross, but it will probably be on a trailer (won't be licensed yet).

I'll bring a 5 gal keg of homebrew to share, too. Woohoo!

Rain and arthritis...

My car is in the driveway (because the garage already has a 914 inside). Rain has slowed the progress a bit. It seems to rain every weekend lately.

I have been having real bad back pain as well. My Dr says I have arthritis and bone spurs. Not much I can do with it. They have me on Salsalate (anti inflamitory). Progress is slow and I have to take breaks.

So, if I make it this year it will be last minute. There's always next year...

We all understand if you can't make it. IT does suck to tow your car to a WCR & not have it get off the trailer for sure. Only a total dip would do that . Seriously though if you have the parts. Have a work party man. Amazing what a bunch of teeners can manage with BBQ & . We'd all like to help get you there. I know there are a fair amount of guys close to you
