Zach works for the man and is an admin. Hmmm. This could be good or bad.

Posted by: r_towle Feb 24 2011, 09:05 AM

If Zach took the job with the man....he wont be doing admin work during the day...thats for sure.

They watch closely....be careful where you surf at work Zach.

Posted by: Vacca Rabite Feb 24 2011, 09:12 AM

Yeah, when I start work at the new gig, my surfing time will be restricted to after work.

But, this place does not need supervision so much. I asked to be a mod so that the club could have "official" representation at events like the ECC and Hershey, as I don't think we have East Coast admins.

I'll help where ever I can, when ever I can.

Doubling the size of the admin team. Are we expecting some heavy Sh!t goin down on the board? Is the Fiero board preparing an invasion or something?

Congrats, guys. Zach, make us Easterners proud. (I guess now the board is moderated from EST straight through PST, huh?)

It's great to have Zach on board to fill out our east coast management.
And for those of you who don't know, Randy helped start RoadGlue which was one of the founding influences in 914Club, and therefore 914World.

Hi everyone! FEAR ME. I will be hence forth be known only as Randy the Terrible. Ok, just kidding! Hope I can help out around here some more. Sometimes I think I've forgotten more than I've learned. Been driving 914s as my daily rides since '99, except for a very short stint where I was drugged and maliciously forced to drive mid 70's Fiat 124 sedans. smile.gif

I've built a few motors over the years, have worked a bit with Mark at Original Customs. Mark REALLY knows his stuff and is way more patient than me. *bows*

I'm a gear head through and through. Ride motorcycles, used to fly airplanes, have owned 20 vehicles over the past fifteen years. Oh man, let's see:

'64 Dodge Dart
'67 Dodge Dart
'74 914 2.0
'70 914 1.7
'69 Bus Westy
'71 Bus Westy
'73 Fiat 124 Sedan
'74 Fiat 124 Sedan
'67 Volvo wagon
'92 Mighty Max
'1971 914 1.7
'1974 914 2.0
'1974 914 2.0
84 Honda 400
84 Honda 750
04 Triumph 955i
82 Suzukimatic
Many misc parts cars

Geez...

Anyways...

Scott, my Mario attack was masterful. Your rotting vagina was just barf.gif gross.

Consider it teeth for the ECTK... Gimmie some warning before the next attack, though my daytime surfing is about to be curtailed by the new job.

Especially since his "vagina" attack was a PENIS. He showed me the pick after the thread got pulled. It is definitely a penis and looks like it ruptured and then died.

Shouldn't surfing time always be on someone's own time? Businesses are going broke everyday and their employees are sitting back collecting their bucks, not doing any productive work and surfing the net on the boss' dime.

I watch the stats on my forums weekly.. Guess when the highest concentration of usage is?? M-F from 9-11:30 Am and then from 1:30-4Pm.. Right in the middle of the work day.. More people are on that forum during those times than even in the early evening.. During lunch times the activity is near zero, I guess everyone takes a lunch break from their surfing..

(and we wonder why our damn economy sucks)

People who have never owned a business can't grasp how serious this is. My people know better than to surf on my dollar, do it once and you can ride the wave right out the door.. Don't let it hit you in the ass on the way out.

Glad to see Zach assuming Admin resonsibilities.. :-)

Depends ... smile.gif

Some of us work on the computer all day long.
I always have a browser window open with 914world loaded.

Not everybody's workday looks exactly like yours.

One question, 4cyl or 6cyl?
OK, one more- What size tires can I fit on my 914?
OK, one more- how much more does a V-8 weigh than a 6?

Since Moncton is the host city of Canada's largest car show and James from Maine comes,(car of the month winner) to make 2 914's in the area any Admin who comes I will buy the first beer and get you the freshest lobster you have ever had! This is very important in the spirit of international relations. James was not sure of my daughters accent which brought a lot of chuckles at dinner! Congrats to the new admins and thanks to the existing ones for a great site.
