This must be used to clean down to the nitty gritty?

That's a nice big $$$one. I use a 2.5 liter one for carbs and small stuff. Invaluable in the garage IMO.

I've looked into those and I got the impression that something as large as that was pretty pricey, unless you find a real deal.
But the cleaning looks fantastic. I would LOVE to have one of those.
I’ve used them before and they are amazing. They worth it, getting one is on my list of things to do.
I tried one of the small HF units a few years ago and it didn't work at all. Fluke?
Whenever you use these cleaning machines, big or small ........ always flush your parts through crevices or galleries with a forced fluid flow, as these vibratory cleaners do a great job of loosening particles from the parts surface ....... but do nothing to remove those 'now loose' particles out of the area or crevices.
In other words, I had an oil cooler and oil tank 'ultrasonically' cleaned by a shop and they came back all wrapped in plastic and looked great ........... though just for precaution I decided to flush them out before I used them ......... very happy I did, as a lot of particles came out of everywhere, with the post 'forced fluid' flush.
