914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Received a cool gift today

Posted by: tornik550 Feb 28 2011, 11:26 AM

Earlier today I received a nice gift from a patient (I'm a family doc). He knew that I loved 914's so he made this for me. He plans on making another with better wheels. It is about 12" long. Made out of steel. I don't think it has much of a use- just cool.

That is very cool! I think he could market those. I would place it in a frame and hang it in the office.

Very cool Doc! Your patient has talent! smilie_pokal.gif

I agree that he could put them up on here & sell them, and if he's using a photo to "trace" on a CNC or other cutter, then he could offer custom ones based on the person's own 914. shades.gif

Heres a better picture. I asked him if he could make more to sell. He said probably not because he did it at work on his free time. He said that they let him do this kind of stuff on a small scale (hes been with the company x 38 years) however if he made a bunch they may get pissed.
