Picked up the wheels today from the polisher. Wow do they look nice! Now I just need to get this thing on the road. Still looking for help if anyone has free time. I am working into the night and all weekend on this thing, I will get it done.

if i feed my little car cheerios, will it grow up to be big and strong like yours? or will i need anabolic steroids?
impressive shot; it implies power, and the beefy reinforcement implies the ability to direct that power. i can't wait to see what the whole car looks like when it is done!
Well, with any luck, it will look like this one and be as fast with the V-8 in it.

Hey Scott - how about more pics of your car?
I've only seen the yellow one and I know that is gone now right?
what's with all the stuff on the trunk? no shop rags?
kevin
Yeah, I got tons of shop rags, there is a blanket on there, the welding helmet, and the front hub and rotor for the passenger side which will be going on this weekend. Its 6:30 and the sun is coming up nice and bright. I can only do so much before 8:00 then I can get into it a little more. Trying to not piss of the neighbors with the noise. I guess some people sleep in on Saturdays.
oh, the wheel does look sharp!!! in the first picture the rotor and the large part next to it look like they're sitting on the paint.
kevin
They are, but it not the color coat, its all in primer right now, I have all the body and paint work to finish yet. I dont mind setting things on it at this point. When its painted, nothing will sit on it.
What are those pad mounted boxes between the picnic tables in the Chalon photo?
Mike
I am not sure, I think its a rest area out along the freeway in the desert somewhere. I didnt take this picture, its just the one I liked so much and wanted to build that car. I think the car used to belong to Scott at Renegade Hybrids. He sold it a few years back. I liked the car so much I wanted to build one just like it. I liked the sail panels on it as they were modified from the original Chalon kit. The body lines look so much cleaner that way. Mine will look almost exactly like that one. If I ever get it done that is. Here is a picture of the difference in the profile between the two from the rear. It turned out to be a lot more work than I thought. But its coming along nicely.

In nor. cal. parks those "pad mounted boxes " are bear/critter proof garbage cans.
BTW Nice car project.
Here is a picture of what it looks like right now, I will get the rest of the suspension done today and then snadblast the engine compartment to clean it all out. once the chassis is all done I will work on the body and get it primered and ready for paint. I dont know if I will have it painted for the WCC but the main thing now is to get it on the road. I also need to pilish the front wheels to match the back now. One thing after another. I am starting to think I bit off more than I can chew. Time will tell.
