I really wasn't expecting pictures, but maybe more words than "double thumbs up" to paint a picture in my mind biggrin.gif

That's in there too...and Paul's car has long been done but they rotate between his series, the Cashmere 911SC and one other I believe.

I have enjoyed how thorough he has been about the build, maybe people will realize how much goes into a car to make it that nice.

To be honest, the car was done start to finish in one year. Excellence is published 9 times per year. We originally planned on running a total of 10 articles every other issue. At the minimum that is over 2 years. Now anyone that knows me is aware I am not "short winded" and we are heading for the last article which is #18!

There have been times such as anniversary issues or other articles that needed to go in so it took even longer than originally planned. Sorry it took so long but I was pleased that Excellence and Pete Stout allowed me the freedom to write the series to include so much info at the peril of length....

Last weekend I took a ride in a unique speedster that should be in next months issue

it has a type4 motor with HUGE billet race heads and programable fuel injection, as well as a 5 speed 901
all built by AJRS

7inch rims on front, 10inch rims rear..
wait till you see it
a true masterpiece by an amazing 914 fabricator

We took a spin in between dyno runs.
wow...
it pulls harder than my race car.
can't wait until the next issue comes out
There is some amazing fabrication coming out of Grand Juction, Colorado....

(day before the VW hotrod shop brought over a 356outlaw with 1inch of ground clearnce.... literally 1 inch.)

I know the car and the owner. I've been in his shop. Want to see some photos?

your refering to the grey car...
of course photos are always great
the owner was real nice.
he checked out my race car on the lift and we chatted a bit.
AJ does some motor bits and consulting for him.

AJ's blue car will be in next months issue

its a grey 356 coupe
much lower (hard to believe)

he had to build up the center tunnel (shift linkage) because he dropped the chassis so much on its suspension
