This is not an imposter. This is the rarest of ALL 914's (how many 914/6 clones have you seen).

well...not to piss off fans of the LE cars, but there must be a reason we don't see LE clones smile.gif

Note to seller....

Does "Included" mean that the Fuel Injection is in a box? If so, what is currently on it?

See what we get back....

How does one owner have for 30yrs (74 - 04) and Original owner drove 1,500mi, what gives here?

Interesting... this time the auction is "private".

You can't see the list of bidders to warn them. Oh well. sad.gif

Yeah, right ... in your dreams. I'm sure my PPI is what's caused this example to stay parked under that tree.

If any one thing annoyed me the most about this guy was his panning of me to a prospective buyer as some sort-of hack. Now THAT pissed me off! headbang.gif

If anybody wants to know about this car, just send 'em my way ...

Nope; leaves, dried battery acid, and rust.

You know, the chemical reaction that works its way down the yonder regions and leaves a pile of (former) metal like this ...

Man, I forgot how bad that thing was. Is it even worth the opening bid?

Posted by: bob174 May 3 2004, 07:47 PM

Oh man... What a hunk of *@shit.

Posted by: Rouser May 3 2004, 08:46 PM

In all honesty, it actually is worth at least the opening bid, but that's pretty-much it. Taking everything else into consideration, the car is in very good condition, just not worth his premium. This guy just wants to cash-in on the LE/Can-Am aura, and is looking to hook one great big fish.

The person who gets suckered into this buy will have performed NO research, knows NOTHING about LE's, and was convinced into buying it site-unseen by someone who knows G.H. @ AA and DOESN'T visit ANY of the "other" 914 sites (i.e. Pelican, 914 Club, etc.).

Whoooa.. Scary pic's.. you shold post them on evil-bay, to assist potential buyers...
