jen,
i guessed right hip/front because just under the right claw of the scorpion is what appeared to be the anterior portion of the iliac crest (hip bone).
i knew that graduate work in anatomy was gonna pay off someday!!!!

Funny but true Tatoo story. One friend who I use to rock climb with often, told me this. He was best man for one of his friends, and they decided to go out to Vegas. His Buddy was marrying a women named Gerry. They did the typical circut, and by the end of the night, this guy said, Man I love this girl so much I want to get her name tatooed on my dik. My friend John tried to talk him out of it. Well this guy was adiment about having Gerry's name tatooed on him.
They finally found a tatoo parlor that would do it.
When the artist finished, he said, btw, was that Gerry with a G or a J? Well guess what.... he made the wrong choice

I have 3 of the same thing, little dots they put on you to line you up for radiation treatments. They do this so they won't wash off and they zap the parts they want to treat everytime. It's been 1.5 years now and they never come off. They are slight reminders of the nightmare.

I had a tattoo one time. It came in a package of fruit stripes gum. It lasted for about 2 hours. I think it was pretty bad ass. No pics, sorry. I got it when I was about 8.

Mine are bigger than your's, I have an ex on my right shoulder, and a lyre, with olive branches, the engraving from a Gibson Maestro vibrola, with a rose up the middle, on my right fo'arm.

my lobes 12g, but I'm just starting the stretching proccess, have one in the tongue and have one under the shirt (sorry, no pics of that), and that is the true piercing rite of passage, it was so painful I almost passed out.

That would be Mr. Burks of MS. A long time 914'er, and perhaps one of the first to properly "initiate" a 914.
He told me about a (ahem) intimate encounter (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) that he had (with a female partner) in a 914 that occured in November of 1969.

just sunblock the tattoo so it doesn't bleed. I never use sunblock other than on my tat. I don't want it looking like a green blob when I'm 45. Although probably by 45, I won't be showing it to anyone anyway!

The producer for Danzig is a company called "Evil Live" productions or something..

I really dig tats that didn't come off the walls of tatoo shops... the sun on my back came off a Rollins Band album (same as on Henry's back) and my snakes were something I drew in while sitting in class... one was taken from a photo of my python, the other one has hidden symbols in it...

I'm with you on the non-generic tats. If I were to ever get one, I'd make the design myself and it would have a really special meaning. I would never get one just for the sake of getting one. My Ex-wife has 3, all from the walls though she gave it more thought of what and where they would go than on our marriage. My last Ex-GF has 3 also, 2 she designed herself, the other is Scooby doo. She's a big fan of Scoob.

Thanks. The guy who did that is one of the best artists in Seattle. He has people from all over the world come to have him do work. He was a regular at the bar I used to bartend at and he offered to do it all for free. Of course I did give him free drinks while I tended

I designed all of my tattoos as well. It took 12 3hr sessions to complete my back. There is so much detail that it really took longer than he thought it would. I would say that you really don't want to have a back piece done in one sitting. If you do you may be there all day or/ and it will not look as well as it should. Yeah... good luck with the daughters on the tats. Just make sure they don't get any stupid piercings. Some are hot...others are not.

Sure. The upper is the first tattoo I ever got. It is the trinity with Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic (The three original laguages the whole Bible was written in.. Aramaic was the first five books, the rest of the old testament was written in Hebrew, and the new testament was written in Greek.) saying Father, Son and Spirit with the flame around it and cross in the middle. The other portion on my back is my representation of the seraphim from Isaiah 6..... 2Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
3And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
4And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
There is more about them later on but this gives the general idea as to where I got how they look.
It is believed to be the first time the Trinity is told of in the old testament besides in Genesis. Long story that if you would like I can go into more detail. My major is in theology with a minor in photography and fine arts.
