914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Steering Column surround 914/6

Has anyone tried to fit the plastic surround used on the 914/6 steering column onto a 1973 914/4. will it even fit? (Item number 6 in the picture)

Nope, won't fit, the two pieces are made to slide into grooves on the subdash, also the shape of the "4" column is a lot smaller than the "6" column. just my .02
