SOLD my 914 Sat.4/30/20011, The buyer picked it up Sat Morning, loaded it on

a U-Haul trailer and headed East into the mist to Beaufort S. Carolina

His name is Bill Howerton , I made him aware of this site.

The garage looks so empty, and the wife says it has a Echo. So please

commiserate with me. I will still lurk around here, and hope to keep going with

the Charity Console Building. If you guys think it is still appropriate ?

Hey Dave congrats on selling your car. You should definitely continue with the center console builds for charity, I have always been impressed with your consistency and perseverance searching and acquiring parts for the builds.

Dave,

I know the feeling!

When I sold my 911T & realized the empty garage space I actually teared up. My wife, on the other hand, did more than that. As the semi pulled away from the house she started bawling & it lasted all morning! hissyfit.gif

When you have a Porsche for so many years it becomes family. I hope I never had to do the same with my 914, and will definitely buy tickets for the factory restored 73 911T that PCA is having restored.

I watched something like this happen.
When my brother bought his Bee.
As we started the car to drive away the owner felt major remorse.
He started ranting and raveing about his boy!
I think he had it for 15 years
When this happened I took off like a rocket to get out of there.
To make matters worse we passed his wife comeing home,
She through out her hand thinking that it was him
She got home and found him sitting on the ground.
Then she said oh no you sold it.
He did not need the space or the money.
