Check this out! I usually stay away from the whole body kit thing, and like our cars in the original or GT setup, yet for some reason I really dig this car....

If it has the balls to back it up....maybe.

If it has an anemic 1.8 or a Fiero it's like putting lipstick on an 80 year old hooker....

We saw these about a year to 9 months ago. I think they are from either South America or ???Asia. I can't remember.
I personally think they are cool if they have the kahonas.

wow!! that looks cool!!! are there more fotos of it anywhere?

here's another, not as wild, but still cool. it's from a pca news letter a few months ago. says it's a modified '75.

It has a nice basic shape, but all of those scoops just create too much drag! It looks like a Countach envy victim... Unless it is a turbine, nuttin NEEDS that much air!

I like the idea behind it. Maybe a little rough on the details.
I would have liked to see the edges more smoothed out
I'm sure that who ever build it got his inspiration from DTM cars

cheers,

Jeroen

Posted by: i love porsche May 25 2004, 06:57 PM

that is strange..it definetly reminds me of the GT1 though

Posted by: Jeroen May 25 2004, 07:25 PM

The headlights give it sort of a GT1 look, but the flares and specially the big rockerpanels are definatly DTM inspired

DTM is a very popular German racing series, have a look http://www.dtm.de/index.en.php.

cheers,

Jeroen

IIRC the guy who originally posted that car on Rennlist said it has a twin-turbo six.

Does anyone know how to contact the manufacturer.
Name, country?

It looks to me like someone got a new Home Depot credit card, and went crazy buying PVC and white formica. barf.gif

It's kinda cool. But I dont like that spoiler. Looks too holey. I would probably drive it with a different spoiler.
<_<

I'm gonna have to say barf.gif as well.

It's cool.... but it doesn't even look like a 914 anymore. I think if maybe he just would have left the headlights alone.. it would still have "teener appeal"... now is just has..... well...... not sure really.

You talking about the white car or the silver one? The silver car has a body kit from AIR (American International Racing).

That white "thing" looks like a model car that someone used up all their leftover parts from a bunch of kits; a very disjointed looking design with seemingly cut-down or worse yet, gull-wing doors! sawzall-smiley.gif
