Who has em'? What do they mean? Likes/Dislikes?
Lets see them!
Going through the DMV website, I thought of this one.....
OK, I'll play. I got this plate from DMV for my car:
Then I had this one made for my car:
I see no reason why anyone should care at all. It is a legally assigned license plate to my car. It will display the correct DMV issued stickers and is the license plate that would have been issued had I bought them back in the 70's for the car.
So if the popo gets behind me and runs my plate it will accurately convey all of the correct information for my car. Isn't that what license plates are supposed to do?
Oh, the meaning is obvious to me, I have a '71 914 SIX.
I'll thow in too... 914 TT (Turbo Targa)...
I think mine is available once again for anyone in CA. The car is overseas.

I released this plate if anyone wants it...
My Texas plate (in my Signature).
No explanation needed.... This is my old 914, my new one has no special plates yet.
Here is Orangina's
And if it all goes well, The new car to me (Thomas/Jonathan) 2.2 6 conversion will have
JPL9146 CA plates.
Just need to finish the paperwork.
Woohoo!
John
I often see people behind me trying to pronounce my tag, then I see them laugh.
and the one on the bug says EMBLMER
Hey Ripper, how about PKLSNFR
(just a friendly joke)
The one I had on my 914 I wrecked was EVIL914....perhaps a different plate on the next one
maybe BUDTOKR
I've thought about FUPIG
I saw a woman once with this on her plate. See if you can guess.
SEEUNT ???
Oh that's bad Elliot but many times true

A friend of mine back in high school had on her 914; LEAKS2
Here's my vanity plate (also showing off the electronics in the trunk).
Don't have a picture at hand, but mine plate is:
"OOMPAH"
I am a professional musician, playing the Tuba. Now that my 1974 914 is a sixer,
I have a valid claim that I drive the world's fastest Tuba case.
I have owned this Oregon plate since 1974.
Mike
I had 1HOT914 on my old 3.0 coversion. When I get a minute I'll post the story about a lady customer of ours, and her rejected vanity plate, amusing story.
i ordered one last week.... being 16 no one believes that the 914 is my car
so i ordered
ITZMINE

Not unique but here's mine:
"WAS LOST" as in, my dad sold this car when I was 7-ish and we found it and bought it back when I was 37-ish.
It's really cool to have these plate here in the US. Not really as much possibility in my homecountry. (Germany)
But while I'm here:
It will go in my Back window when I'm back in Germany next year.
Peter Kleine
I posted this in another thread, but I've thought about this one:
(Haven't ordered it... yet)
Saw this one the other day. I'm sure she's a very nice lady.

not very original but it I believe in truth in advertising... the plate was registered to the car, but not good enough for the locat Sheriffs. After being pulled over twice and boxed in once... it had to go.

and now, the totally boring historical vehicle plate.... but with fuchs and some other stuff...

Two of my past plates....same message....just worded differently....
I was thinking about the roman numerals, but should it be CMXIV or IXXIV or maybe 9XIV.
This is my friend Carlos (Past Winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona). When he got rid of his 914-6 (#138), I scooped up his Plate. A couple of years later he bought another -6, so I thought it was the right thing to do to Sign Off/Give him back his Plate
I get "you can't haul a car with that thing" all the time
my answer - "My name is Carr and it's haulin my ass"
HOT4CUZ
