Is there a way to tap into the block , maybe an oil filter adapter , so that one could add an oil cooler.
I sometimes have to use the teeener to go to the valley and the oil temp gets WAYYYY too hot for me

thx in advance

P.S. welcome to the USA Jeron!

yupp, there is a sandwich plate for the oil-filter that is widely used.
you can get it at all the usual parts outlets ...

The sandwich adapter is easy but it restricts flow to about 5/16". We removed the filter plate and taped directly into the block for AN_8 fittings. This will allow for greater flow at same pressure.

Hi JT,

I have oil filter mounted thermo-bypass for an oil cooler that I got from Shad Laws. Turns out I don't need it. Let me know if you are interested. I can get a picture for you. ghiafab@msn.com
