Who makes these K&N type air filters for Webber carburators other than K&N?

These are off my 40's

K&N...
There are some super duper expensive foam filters. I don't think you can get the better paper filters for the Webers anymore.
Weber carb direct has some cheaper K&Nish filters. I don't know that they will be any better then the name brand though.

I know there are some ITG/Pipercross filters, but they are $$$
I'd just clean and oil the K&Ns and use them.

Yea I'm going to keep this set. I usually have two sets for quick change and clean the dirty ones and have them standing by. I searched K&N but nothing with my dimensions.

I'm assuming from the size (rag label) that these are for a /4.
As long as you keep them oiled you'll have no problems with the K&N's, but if you need more protection you can use pre-filters or UNI filters.

Thanks. That's funny, the red bug on the cover of their new catalog is the guy who re-built my motor. aktion035.gif

If you go to the back of a NAPA filter catalog and look through the specification section you should be able to come up with an oval filter for your carbs. I have installed some that look the same onto generator sets and insulation blowers. Ones that fit Onan gen sets come to mind...

On another thought process- K&N offers a lifetime warranty on their filters, and I cashed in on it and got new filters for my 1970 914. The car came with
Dellortos on it when bought from the junkyard. piratenanner.gif
