For the late style steel rims, was the trim ring a VW part or was it aftermarket? Would chrome or stainless steel be correct? Regarding the carpet, does anyone have the link for the dealer brouchures with the samples of carpet on them? No luck using the search.

IIRC the trim rings were indeed sold by Porsche+Audi dealers or ordered on a customer special order 914, & were listed in the older PET & hard copy parts manuals, but was a shared VW part (from Super Beatles IIRC).

PS - JC Whitney & others also made aftermarket trim rings too.
