I'm a ways away from it but what is needed to retro fit a 76 stock exhaust to an earlier style (2.0)?

Thanks,

Joe

not sure what you need to also have heat ??

You also need the early heat exchanger 'elbows'. Sometimes they are packaged with a set of used exchangers, some times not.
Also, somebody will correct me if I'm wrong, but I recall needing the early warm air guides that are compatible with a side-shift transmission.

Yes, also need the J-tubes, S-tubes(warm air guides), and warm air guide covers(sheet metal). You can reuse the flapper boxes but thats about it.
