914World.com _ 914World Garage _ I Had My Visors Recovered

Posted by: RON S. Aug 27 2011, 06:10 PM

I took my original visors off and sent them up to Vinyl Specialties in NY.

Now granted they are not original looking in appearance, but they do look muchhh muchhhh better than what they looked like before I sent them.

I did send them some original style vinyl to recover, but in the end, the cost only came to $70.00 including the shipping. Not bad, They did a good job considering our visors were originally heat sealed from the factory. I'm satisfied, and I thought I'd share the results of their work with anyone looking at their own visors and are wondering what they can do to improve the look.

I think Mike 914 does original visors, but don't remember the cost. Yours look great and what an improvement over the originals. Is that $70 for the pair or each?
