clearly there are some that would like a simple set - like stock
and a more elaborate set that is adjustable
hopefully there is a good ROI for rich's endeavor

I agree with Eric. You would want to be able to adjust the pre-load without removing the link on one end.
Personally, if I was going to go through the trouble to make them, I would just make both sides adjustable. I know that you only need to adjust one side for pre-load, but why bother with two designs.
