Little job like fabricating a bracket took entire weekend, well whatever time I had to work on the car. Maybe 5 hours.

I really hacked up the bracket. Couldn't find the right tool to cut the inside of the aluminum. Tried fine tooth saber, cutoff wheels, dremel cutoff, snips, What work best for cutting aluminum?

Then, since I put the gauges in fastened from behind, it was a major bitch to got the mounting nuts on for the bracket behind the dash. Going to try some nut plates next.

Anyway, looks like I wanted it to. Always thought about putting gauges in this spot since I removed the ashtray. Then I saw on the rennsport reunion that the 911 that ran the targa florio had a couple gauges in the same spot, so it can't be too bad of an idea.
