It was wet and miserable, but there were some good deals to be found. My best buy was a pair of Bilstein front struts for $75. Here are a couple of pics to get things started.

Thanks for the pics! I love that green. There were GT cars that color, but it wasn't a factory color was it? Where's DD when you need him.
i like the green also. there is a 5 lug fuch up front, what is the 5 lug rear on the green car? almost like an empi vw wheel
Are those Panasports on the rear of each car? They look different in 5 lug. I wonder why each car has different wheels front and back?
Those rear wheels are Minilites.
You can just make out the "MW" (minilite wheels) logo in the hub of the green cars wheel.
These are cast mag, very light, made in the UK, very period.

:NO WAY those are mini-lites. serious? i though minilights were the things seen on mini coopers. wow...small world
Minilites made it onto most things in the 60's and early 70's, company is still operating, but mostly aluminum (aluminium actually!) wheels, they still make the mag wheels too.
I have a set of 6.5 x 14's for a my BMW 3.0 CS. One had a crack where it was kerbed and this brave and very skillful man gas welded the small crack!
I would like some for my 911's too, but I doubt I will ever get any.

Go here for Minilites, you can see the logo for the center of the wheel.

The reason for the mini-lites on the rear is that no 9X15 Fuchs were available at the time.
The green color looks like willow green. It was availble on 71 914-6.
