914World.com _ 914World Garage _ front koni insert question

I just picked up a complete set of used Konis (front and rear). I ran the part#s and they are for 914/9146 and are externally adjustable. I'm converting to 5 lug with a complete '85 carrera front end. I see the part #'s for the '85 911 front inserts are different, will the 914 inserts fit the 911 struts???? I believe the 911 struts are boge (they're black?). I would really like to use the Konis and figured you guys would know if they'd work.

I think the differences are in the valving only. Call Jason at http://www.paragon-products.com/. He knows exactly what will mix and match properly. He's the man.

They wont fit...however...you can buy an adapter from Jason so they will fit.
