Troubles.
I placed a CHT ring sensor from Aircooled net on Spark plug #3. I tightened the spark plug and the connector broke off the ring. What did I do wrong?

I spoke with John at aircooled net and he wants me to send the sender back to replace it. Very nice of aircooled net and John. Synthesis, I read the thread and am not sure I would want to dremel my head to add a CHT. Will it not work to bend the CHT sender so it fits the spark plug and room for the spark plug wrench and then allow it to spin as you tighten the spark plug?
Another question John did not have, is the CHT ring adaquate for a spark plug seal or should the CHT ring be placed between the body of the spark plug and the sealing washer of the spark plug?
