I have a 1.7 with stock size domed pistons a carb cam and dual weber 40's what should be the normal head temperature with normal street driving?

Didn't find anything in the literature about normal temp but I'd say normal is in the range of 350 deg F. I have a VDO CHT gauge on a 2L D-Jet.

Jake recommends the following head temperatures

Generally heads temps are 265-365 F
375 to 395 F is getting warm
405 F being to hot

Oil temperature
180 - 220 F is optimum
225 - 235 F is warm
235+ F is to hot.
