i'm looking for my 2nd 914 and the 1st is a 75 1.8...what should the 2nd be????currently in my area ther are 73 2.0...74 2.0...75 1.8...also the reasons why...ciao for now

That's why I like it
a -6 with a 2.7RS motor.... because after driving the 1.8, you will want more power and then you can make the 1.8 a concours show car....
the one's w/o RUST
The 73 2.0 is arguably the most desirable 4 cylinder car to have. They were optioned heavily and have the 2.0 motor.
The one(s) that you own is the best....
Now that I have my own hellhole to deal with, I'd say the best are whatever years didn't have the pad on the engine side of the firewall (mega rust trap) Everyone who has one should remove it immediately before matters get worse.
(we need a smiley that slowly rusts away into a little pile)
