I noticed that a lot of us are college students both currently and formerly and was wondering who, what, where, etc. I'll go first, San Diego State University class of '05, BA in psychology with Pre-Med representing.
UC San Diego- B.S. Electrical Engineering - 2000
UC Santa Barbara - M.S. Electrical Engineering - 2003

Eric Ciampa- Currently attending Azusa Pacific University double majoring in Communications and Biblical Studies. Just starting my senior year but will graduate a semester late.
WHy not also include if you are able to take your 914 to school (important if school is far way). I had to leave mine back home in NorCal.
University of Minnesota Twin Cites: College of Biologicial Sciences. Currently working on a Bio-Chem degree with pre-med intentions. Class of 2006, i will finish this degree in 4 years if it kills me .

I still attend classes almost every semester.. It keeps the mind active
Its nice to see so many with time to spend on their project 914s, it makes me feel better about my time
Well I'm going to be going to the University of Oregon next month to start my first term. I have no idea what i'm gona do, as long as I can get a job in something that won't just drive me nut's and I can still have dough to work on porsche's I don't care. So we'll see. No I'm not taking the 914, but I'm thinking about trading in my Audi for a Miata. I've yet to deside how stupid it is, but god know's it would be much cheaper. Audi's are hell to maintain in my experience.
Eric
Eric,
You should take the 914. I have applied to med school in Oregon and I am bringing mine (if I get accepted and go there)...of course I have no choice (no storage).
beginning first semester at Cal Poly Pomona for a degree in Civil engineering.5 year plan <_<
Not quite a college student yet, but I plan on going to Rochester Insititute of Techonology to work on a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (automotive option).
Yes, I do plan to bring the 914. I'll probably have to attach a snowplow to it, though.
Just graduated from Lehigh, got my BS in Mech E last year, and got an extra year free so I got another BS in Elec E.
Got a job working for a company making a product that harnesses the energy in ocean waves and translates it into electrical energy. Pretty cool stuff, uses both my degrees, and, well, just doing my part to save the world. As an added bonus, many island nations are interested in this technology, so travel opportunities are excellent.
Biggest bonus of all, now I have money to spend on my 914. When I finally get the t4 engine in my Beetle all sorted out, I'll show you the pics of my hell hole. You'll then know why I need that money (gotta get me a MIG!).

Dr. Evil,
yeah, I kinda wish I could take the teener, but it's just got so much to do to it to make it a daily driver. IO's more of a weekend car right now. I really don't wanat a car that I know I will have to work on as my daily driver. So I guess the Audi will have to do .But it would be so much fun to take the top off and blast out of town on the weekend . So which medical school? You going to OHSU? It's an awesome place. Hope you get accepted, we can always use more teeners up here.
Eric

I'm currently at West Valley College with tentative plans to go into pediatric nursing. I'll probably transfer to San Jose State for the nursing classes.
We'll see.

Oh, and I STILL don't have a 914.
Mer
ill be starting at NJIT this month to study mechanical engineering, i want to go into car design pretty much. ill also be living at home so that i can keep a job and finish the teener...thats actually my main reason for living at home =]
Mer,
914 and medical interest, you got it all dont ya.
i love porsche,
My youngest cousin just graduated from NJIT and he had nothing but great things to say about it. Congradulations.
Jeff,
since you are a local, if you need help drop me a line
Eric,
Yup, OHSU is on my list off acceptable med schools. I am really trying to get into UC Davis above all though.
Man all these tech/science degrees I feel out of place with my business degree.
Western Washington University - BA Business Management/Finance 1992

MA-Claremont Graduate Univ. (music, vocal performance)

Hi Meridith,

I too attended there many, many moons ago (AJ or administrative justice, back when I wanted to be a police officer), the best part of the WV was the drive from Almaden Valley to Saratoga on Hicks Rd (or whatever it is, it's been a while)
Yup, hicks to shannon?

don't know when I'm done with it, should be in 1 and a half year.
Having a good time, the uni is a 5 minute bike ride from my home and the teener is located at my parents place which is 4 hours from my home by public transport so no tinkering time during the week <_< .
