In the AIM menus somewhere it says "join Chat" or "go chat" or something like that. Room name is ninefourteen.
I'm there staring at myself.
seems like i can only start my own chatroom ...
i can only connect to someone elses if i get invited!
Andy
silly me...I was trying to find it on yahoo IM
do you have to have AOL for it??
That's funny. I saw you sign on to Yahoo. I remember thinking, "That's Mueller. Maybe he'll join the chat". Then, I realized that you were on Yahoo and the chat is on AIM.
I'm running Trillian and I'm logged on to AIM, Yahoo, MSN, and ICQ at the same time.
I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not...

Was this...
Q: How can I use AIM to chat with AOL buddies?
A: Right now, AOL chat rooms are only accessible by AOL members. However, AOL members can join AIM chat rooms if they have AIM running on their computer.
...no, I'm not a paying member of AOL (laugh). I haven't seen the "join chat" option for a few client versions back.
Rick
I've done a search on aol for ninefourteen & it comes back with no matches.
Where it says "send Buddy a chat invitation" try sending the invite to yourself and put "ninefourteen" as the room
Do what he^^ says.. It works!!!
its only me here
the action peaked and died at 11 pm last night
